Like in any communty, Following the rules is VITAL
If you do not follow these rules, you WILL be banned. The length of the ban depends on the seriousness of what you did and/or how much times you have broken said rule.
General Posting Rules
- The title of said SCP must be posted with the SCP number first, followed by its codename in apostraphe's. E.G. SCP-002 'Living Room'. FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A WARNING. IF THIS RULE IS BROKEN AGAIN YOU WILL RECIEVE A 1-DAY BAN.
- No swearing - Yes, this rule seems stupid, but the SCP Foundation is presented as a Top-Secret Organization run by the government. To include cursing in your SCP would be seen as unprofessional. FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A WARNING. IF THIS RULE IS BROKEN AGAIN YOU WILL RECIEVE A 1-DAY BAN.
- Use proper grammar/ punctuation/etc - Just like RULE #2, poor grammar looks unproffesional. FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A WARNING. IF THIS RULE IS BROKEN AGAIN YOU WILL RECIEVE A 6-HOUR BAN.
- No troll O.C. SCP's - The original Troll SCP's are okay, but if the troll SCP is written by you and posted specifically to this wiki, you will be punished. FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A 3-DAY BAN.
General Community Rules
- If someone is annoying you in the chatroom/on your talk page, go to said persons account and BLOCK them. If you find that multiple people are being bugged by said account, P.M. me. (Kindly list the people who have also claimed to have been trolled by this person) IF SOMEOME P.M.'S ME AND IS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU, YOU WILL BE BANNED FOR 6-DAYS.
- No false reporting - This includes reporting people that:
- Give Constructive Criticizm
- Post non-O.C. Troll SCP's
- Have doone nothing wrong in the first place
- FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A WARNING, IF DONE AGAIN YOU WILL RECIVE A 2-HOUR BAN, IF DONE YET AGAIN, A 2-DAY BAN.
3. Spamming - BIG NO-NO FAILIURE TO STICK BY THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN A 2-DAY BAN.
